1.0 Policy Overview:
BB Tech sells professionally refurbished laptops that have been inspected, tested, repaired where necessary, and graded before sale. Because all units are pre-owned and refurbished — not new — our return and refund terms are specific and clearly defined. Please read this policy carefully before completing your purchase.
This policy applies exclusively to online orders placed on bbtech.shop and paid for via an accepted digital payment method (FPX bank transfer, credit/debit card, e-wallet, or BNPL). Order fulfilled via walk-in or 3rd party marketplaces are governed by separate terms.
BB Tech is committed to selling devices that match their listed grade and description. Where a device fails to meet that standard through no fault of the customer, we will honour a return, replacement, or refund under the terms set out below.
Important: Refurbished laptop carry inherent cosmetic variation. Minor scratches, scuffs, or signs of prior use consistent with the listed grade do not constitute rounds for return. We encourage all customers to review our device grading descriptions at bbtecch.shop/grading before ordering.
2.0 Device Grading & Condition Description
All BB Tech laptops are listed under one of three refurbishment grades. The grade determines the expected cosmetic condition. Return eligibility for cosmetic reasons is based on whether the received unit matches its listed grade.

Regardless of grade, every unit sold by BB Tech meets the same functional performance standard: operating system installed and activated, all advertised hardware components present and working, battery holding a charge (minimum 50% battery health unless otherwise stated), and no dead pixels exceeding our stated threshold.
3.0 Return Eligibility
BB Tech accepts returns under the following defined circumstances only. All return requests must be submitted within the stated window from the delivery date recorded by our logistics partner.

Change-of-mind returns are not accepted. Refurbished devices are inspected, graded, and prepared specifically for each order. We encourage customers to contact our team before purchasing if they have any questions about specifications, compatibility or condition.
3.1 Conditions That Must Be Met For A Return To Be Accepted
In addition to falling within an eligible return reason above, all of the following conditions must be satisfied:
- The return request must be submitted within the stated return window. Requests outside the window will not be accepted.
- The device must be returned in the same condition as received — no additional physical damage, missing components, or unauthorised repairs.
- All original accessories, packaging, and documentation included in the order must be returned together with the device.
- The customer must not have attempted to open, disassemble, or modify the device internally.
- A valid order number and proof of purchase must be provided with the return request.
- Clear photos or a video of the defect/issue must be submitted at the time of the return request for all non-DOA claims.
3.2 How To Initiate a Return
Do not ship the device back before receiving a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) from BB Tech. Returns received without a valid RMA number will not be processed and may be returned to the sender at the customer’s expense.
Step-by-Step Return Process
- Submit your return request via email to marketing@bbtech.com.my or through the WhatsApp support line within the eligible return window. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos or video evidence. - Our support team will review your request within 2 business days and respond with either an RMA approval or a request for additional information.
- Once your RMA is approved, you will receive a Return Shipping Label (for eligible returns, BB Tech covers return shipping costs). Pack the device securely in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.
- Write the RMA number clearly on the outside of the package. Ship the device using the label provided or the courier specified in your RMA confirmation.
- Once BB Tech receives and inspects the returned device, you will be notified of the outcome within 3–5 business days. Inspection confirms that the returned unit matches the reported issue and meets return conditions.
- Upon approval, your refund, replacement, or exchange will be processed as described in Section 5.
Tip: Keep your return tracking number. BB tech is not liable for returned items lost in transit if tracked shipping was not used.
4.0 Refund Policy
4.1 Refund Options
Upon approval of a valid return, BB Tech will offer the customer one of the following resolutions. Where a replacement or exchange is available and preferred by the customer, it will be prioritised over a cash refund.
- A full refund to the original payment method for DOA, wrong item received, or items found to materially differ from their listed grade. Full Refund:
- A replacement unit of the same or equivalent specification, at no additional cost, for hardware defect claims within the 7-day window or 90-day warranty. Replacement:
- An exchange for a different model or specification (price difference, if any, to be settled separately), subject to stock availability. Exchange:
- Where the device has been used and the defect is minor, BB Tech may offer a partial refund at its discretion in lieu of a full return. Partial Refund:
4.2 Refund Processing Times by Payment Method
Refunds are processed within 3 business days of BB Tech confirming the return approval. The time taken for funds to appear in your account depends on your payment method and provider:

BNPL Note: For Buy Now Pay Later plans, BB Tech will process the cancellation/reversal with the BNPL provider. Any instalments already deducted by the BNPL provider will be returned directly by them according to their own processing schedule. BB Tech cannot expedite BNPL provider refunds.
5.0 Shipping Fee Treatment
The treatment of original and return shipping fees depends on the reason for the return:
- BB Tech covers both the original and return shipping costs in full. The full order value including any original shipping fee paid is refunded. DOA or Wrong Item Delivered:
- BB Tech provides a prepaid return shipping label. Original shipping fee paid by the customer is refunded as part of the total. Eligible Hardware Defect (7-day window):
- BB Tech covers return shipping for warranty claims. Original shipping is not refunded as the unit was delivered correctly. 90-Day Warranty Repair/Replacement:
- BB Tech covers return shipping if the claim is validated. If the returned unit matches its listed grade upon inspection, return shipping costs may be charged to the customer. Cosmetic Grade Mismatch:
